Salsa Strips

These are fun little finger foods. The combination of the crescent rolls , salsa and mozzarella make for a delicious appetizer that you’ll want to make over and over.
Ingredients -
8 Ounces Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
3/4 Cup Salsa
1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded (4 oz.)
Fresh Cilantro, minced
 
Preparation:

1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles.

2. Place on greased baking sheets.

3. Spread mustard and salsa on each rectangle.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

5. Sprinkle with mozzarella and bake until golden brown.

6. Cool for 10 minutes.

7. Cut each into 4 strips and sprinkle with cilantro.

Chopping Raisins
When using choppedraisins in a hot dish, spray a sharp knife with nono-stick cooking spray to prevent them from sticking to the knife.

Remoulade Sauce
A classic remoulade sauce combines mayonnaise, mustard, chopped gherkins, capers, herbs and chopped anchovies. The sauce is often served with crab cakes.
