Sweet And Tart Berry Poppers

These little appetizers are the perfect amount of sweet and tart. You can substitute your favorite preserve in place of the apricot preserve.
Ingredients -
1 1/2 Tablespoons Fresh Cranberries, chopped
1 1/2 Tablespoons Apricot Preserves
1 Package Neufchatel Cheese, 8 oz , softened (cream cheese)
3 Tablespoons Apricot Preserves
1 Package Mini Croustades Crispy Shells, 1.4 oz, (wafer thin round little shells to fill with sweet or savory fillings)
2 Tablespoons Walnuts, chopped, toasted
 
Preparation:

1. Combine the cranbetties and 1 ½ tablespoons apricot preserves in a large bowl.

2. Stir together the cheese and 3 tablsespoons apricot preserves until smooth in a separate bowl.

3. Place the mixture in a plastic bag and snip the corner.

4. Pipe into crispy shells.

5. Top with the cranberry mixture.

6. Sprinkle with nuts.

7. Enjoy
